Sunderland
The City of Sunderland, located in Tyne and Wear Is divided by the River Wear. Sunderland railway station allows access to close by Durham, Middlesbourough and Newcastle and to places further afield such as Manchester, Edinburgh and London. Some of the districts in Sunderland include, Roker, Southwick, Hendon, Fulwell, Bishopwearmouth and Monkwearmouth. Sunderland was host to the first electrically powered lighthouse in the world, the Souther lighthouse, It also boasts serveral beaches. The local football team, Sunderland AFC, are currently in the premier league. Sunderland is a popular city which attracts both business visitors and tourists.
